Today's Comic - Monday, April 1, 2002

For those interested, the first quote is nigh-impossible to trace (and I *tried*, believe me I *tried!), but the second one comes from Baron Edward Bulwer-Lytton, in his play Richelieu (1839).

(If *anyone* out there has the Oxford Dictionary of Quoatations, feel free to look it up and let me know its etymology [i.e., its origin], if it's indicated therein! I'll check at the liberry when I get back to Freddy on Wednesday...)
